Nervous of today’s distance – refuelling vital

Legs feel ok, but very nervous today. 30 is the longest I’ve ever run, and after a 23.3 yesterday, the longest I will have run in 30h… 53+ miles. Trying out bagels with peanut butter and jam en route. Mmmmm.

Things don’t always go to plan!


This was a pretty intense 70-mile week. The furthest I’ve run in a week… ever. The last Sunday long run was a 24-miler.
